Link Community Development works with government and communities to improve the quality of education in sub-Saharan Africa. We work at all levels of the education system – with parents, communities, teachers, school managers, district education authorities and central government – to identify and remove the obstacles to quality education.

Link Community Development currently works in rural districts of Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi, South Africa and Uganda, and there is demand for us to extend our work to other countries. Read more about Solar Connect

We also work with schools in England & Wales to build support for development and raise awareness of important global issues through our Link Schools Programme, as well as raise funds and support our work in sub-Saharan Africa.

What being Planet Positive means for our business

Link Community Development is committed to environmental sustainability, and has recently started work on installing community based centres with environmentally sustainable, solar powered internet and printing facilities, which will serve as training and resource centres for local education staff. Each centre will be provided with a netbook, printer and internet connection.

Who we work with

Link Community Development works with teachers, schools, district staff, Ministry officials, donors, government, trusts, foundations, corporates and other individuals who support our education improvement work.
