Link Community Development works with government and communities to improve the quality of education in sub-Saharan Africa. Through Solar Connect, solar power is installed into rural school communities in Africa, along with a netbook, printer and internet connection. Through Solar Connect teachers spend more time in class, and receive support for their development and curriculum development. The programme works towards increasing environmental sustainability action and awareness.
